Abstract:
A disc device is a pickup device (5) to be used for recording or reproduction on
or from one or a plurality of kinds of optical discs (41). The pickup device is provided
with a pickup body (51) as a case for the pickup device (5), and an optical component
(5), which is bonded to a pickup body with a photocuring bonding means (82) and
emits or guides laser beams to be used for recording or reproduction. The pickup
device is also provided with guiding means (91, 92, 93), which are one or a plurality
of inclined surfaces formed on a reinforcing section for reinforcing rigidity
of the pickup device in the pickup body, and guide at least a part of light, which
is applied to the pickup device and has a prescribed wavelength, to the bonding
means.
