Abstract:
Provided is a piezoelectric acoustic component with which a plurality of scales can be heard even in a noisy area. A piezoelectric sound generating element 11 is constituted by a metal vibration plate 12 and a piezoelectric element 15 provided on at least one surface of the vibration plate 12. A non-fixed part of the vibration plate 12 comprises a pair of long sides 13A that face each other and a pair of short sides 13B that face each other and are shorter than the long sides 13A, and the pair of long sides 13A have a pair of recesses 13C that are formed by a protrusion formed by the long sides rising as they approach each other. The piezoelectric element 15 is provided on a region between the pair of recesses 13C of the vibration plate 12, and the outline shape of each of the non-fixed part 13 and piezoelectric element 15 of the vibration plate 12 is set so as to be symmetrical with respect to a first virtual line PL1 that divides the pair of short sides 13B in two, and so as to be symmetrical with respect to a second virtual line PL2 that divides the pair of long sides 13A in two.
