Abstract:
The piezoelectric device according to the present invention is provided with a piezoelectric array, a resin part, a first electrode, and a second electrode. The piezoelectric array includes a plurality of columnar piezoelectric pillars formed of piezoelectric ceramic. The plurality of piezoelectric pillars are arranged in a two-dimensional array so as to extend in a row direction and a column direction such that the height directions of these piezoelectric pillars are parallel to each other. The resin part fills the gaps between the plurality of piezoelectric pillars. The first electrode includes a plurality of first electrode lines extending in the column direction. The second electrode includes a plurality of second electrode lines extending in the row direction. The piezoelectric pillars and the resin part each resonate and vibrate in a thickness-extensional vibration mode, and the resonant frequency of the resin part is higher than that of the piezoelectric pillars by at least 15%.
