Abstract:
A production method for a piezoelectric oscillator, the method including: a step for preparing a piezoelectric oscillation element (10) that has a piezoelectric piece (11), a pair of excitation electrodes (14a, 14b) that are respectively provided on a first main surface (12a) and a second main surface (12b) of the piezoelectric piece (11) so as to face each other across the piezoelectric piece (11), and a pair of connection electrodes (16a, 16b) that are respectively electrically connected to the pair of excitation electrodes (14a, 14b); a holding step for using conductive holding members (36a, 36b) that contain conductive particles (53) to electrically connect the pair of connection electrodes (16a, 16b) to a pair of electrode pads (33a, 33b) that are provided on a third main surface (32a) of a base member (30) and to excitably hold the piezoelectric oscillation element (10) on the third main surface (32a) of the base member (30); and a deposition step for depositing, on the surface (55) of the conductive holding members (36a, 36b), a conductive material (59) that has been scattered from a conductive member.
