Abstract:
Provided is a piezoelectric vibration component with a large amount of displacement.
A piezoelectric vibration component (1) is provided with a plate-shaped pedestal part (11) having first and second main surfaces (11a, 11b) and a piezoelectric vibration plate (10) attached on top of the first main surface (11a) and having a spreading vibration mode as the main vibration mode. The piezoelectric vibration component is used by attaching the second main surface (11b) of the pedestal part (11) to a body to be vibrated. The constitution is such that, when the piezoelectric vibration plate (10) is vibrating, the pedestal part (11) vibrates such that the main vibration mode for the piezoelectric vibration component (1) as a whole is a spreading vibration mode.
