Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a piezoelectric vibration element with which generation of unnecessary vibration can be reduced, and a piezoelectric vibration apparatus and a mobile terminal using same. [Solution] Provided is a piezoelectric vibration element that comprises a plurality of electrode layers and piezoelectric layers that are layered along a first direction, and two surfaces (14a, 14b) opposed to each other with a gap therebetween in the first direction, and that, when an electric signal is inputted thereto, bends and vibrates in the first direction so that the amplitude changes along a second direction that is perpendicular to the first direction. One of the two surfaces that are opposed to each other with interval gap therebetween in the first direction has a shape that has the center section protruding more in a third direction, which is perpendicular to the first direction and the second direction, than both end sections thereof. Also provided are a piezoelectric vibration apparatus and a mobile terminal using the piezoelectric vibration element. With such a configuration, a piezoelectric vibration element with which generation of unnecessary vibration can be reduced, and a piezoelectric vibration apparatus and a mobile terminal using same can be attained.
