Abstract:
A piezoelectric vibrator (10) has a first piezoelectric body substrate (1a) and a second piezoelectric body substrate (1c). The first piezoelectric body substrate (1a) has a first main surface (41) and a second main surface (42) that are elongated and opposite to each other and has two split electrodes (2a1, 2a2) that are split in a width direction and formed on the first main surface (41). The second piezoelectric body substrate (1c) has a third main surface (43) and a fourth main surface (44) that are elongated and opposite to each other and has a common electrode (2c) that is formed on the third main surface (43). The first piezoelectric body substrate (1a) and second piezoelectric body substrate (1c) are bonded to each other such that the second main surface (42) and the fourth main surface (44) are in contact with each other. The first piezoelectric body substrate (1a) and second piezoelectric body substrate (1c) are polarized in directions opposite from each other in a thickness direction. Both the second main surface and the fourth main surface are mirror finished.
