Abstract:
Devices and systems for wireless charging of mobile devices are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, an auxiliary device is configured to be attached to and communicate with a mobile device. The auxiliary device can increase the functionality of the mobile device by, for example, communicating depth or range data to the mobile device. The auxiliary device is configured to permit wireless charging of the mobile device via a wireless charging base station even when the auxiliary device is attached to the mobile device.
