Abstract:
The present invention provides: a pigment composition which is capable of suppressing oxidation of a pigment contained in an ink or the like, said oxidation occurring in the ink or after printing, thereby being capable of suppressing discoloration of the pigment even in cases where the particle diameter of the pigment is reduced, for example, to a nanometer size; a tablet; and a capsule. In order to achieve the above, a pigment composition according to the present invention contains, for example, black iron oxide, a dispersion medium, a dispersant and an oxidation inhibitor; the median diameter D50 of the black iron oxide is within the range of from 30 nm to 1 μm; and the oxidation inhibitor is composed of reduced isomaltulose.
