Abstract:
Provided are: a pigment dispersion liquid for cosmetic compositions, which has excellent dispersibility of carbon black and excellent long-term stability; and an aqueous liquid cosmetic composition which uses this pigment dispersion liquid for cosmetic compositions, and which is suitable for hair dyes and the like. This pigment dispersion liquid for cosmetic compositions is characterized by containing at least water, a water-soluble organic solvent, carbon black and a methacryloyl ethyl betaine/acrylates copolymer, and is also characterized in that the ratio of water to all solvents is 30-95% by mass.
