Abstract:
Disclosed is a pigment sensitized solar battery in which degradation of photovoltaic conversion efficiency caused by gaps generated between a transparent member into which light is input and a pigment sensitized solar battery constituent member is suppressed. A pigment sensitized solar battery constituent member unit (14) is arranged inside a cylindrical transparent member (12) in a pigment sensitized solar battery (10). In the pigment sensitized solar battery constituent member unit (14), a cathode electrode layer (16), an electrolyte layer, a collector electrode (18) and a porous semiconductor layer (20) that carries pigment are laminated in this order in a cylindrical shape with the cathode electrode layer (16) at the center. The cathode electrode layer (16) constitutes a spring body, and the pigment sensitized solar battery constituent member unit (14) is pressed towards the transparent member (12) by the elastic restoring force of the spring.
