A pile foundation (10) has: a pile (24) that extends in the vertical direction and that supports a tower-shaped structure (14) by a pile head (24A) projecting up above the ground (26); and a floor slab (28) that is installed on the ground (26) and that transmits the force acting on the pile (24) to the ground (26) by being fixed to the pile head (24A).
