Abstract:
Provided are a pillar bearing for a vehicle suspension, and a manufacturing method for a bearing lower cover. The suspension pillar bearing comprises a lower cover (1), an upper cover (2) and a rolling body (3), which are assembled together. The lower cover (1) and the upper cover (2) can rotate relative to each other, and a space for mounting the rolling body (3) is defined between the lower cover (1) and the upper cover (2). The lower cover (1) comprises a metal framework (11) and a peripheral structure (12), wherein the peripheral structure (12) is attached to the metal framework (11) in such a manner that same surrounds the metal framework (11), such that the metal framework (11) is embedded inside the peripheral structure (12). The integrated structure of the metal framework enhances the structural strength of the bearing, such that the bearing is easy to mount and has low costs. According to the manufacturing method for the bearing lower cover, the lower cover of the pillar bearing for the vehicle suspension is manufactured in a relatively simple manner by means of the steps of stamping and of stretching multiple times.
