Abstract:
This pillion step (18) for a saddled vehicle is provided with a first footrest member (20), a second footrest member (21), and an arm member (22). The first footrest member (20) is supported on the vehicle body side. The arm member (22) is configured such that: the second footrest member (21) is held on one end side of the arm member (22) in the direction in which the arm member (22) extends; and the other end side of the arm member (22) in the direction in which the arm member (22) extends is connected to the first footrest member (20) so that the arm member (22) can pivot. The first footrest member (20) has an arm stowage groove (28) which is recessed from a first footrest surface (25a) and in which the arm member (22) can be stowed. The arm member (22) can pivot between a stowed position at which the arm member (22) is stowed in the arm stowage groove (28) and an extended position at which the arm member (22) is raised upward from the stowed position. The second footrest member (21) is held by the arm member (22) so that at least a part of the second footrest member (21) is disposed adjacent to the first footrest member (20) while the arm member (22) is located at the stowed position.
