PILLOW THE CERVICAL FOR HEALTH FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a health neck vertebrae pillow and more particularly, to a health neck vertebrae pillow which is designed to consider the structure of the human body such as for example the cranial bone, the neck vertebrae, the thoracic vertebrae. the shoulder blade and the like, whereby it supports the neck vertebrae in natural and comfortable manners, while protecting the neck vertebrae, when a user lies on his back. lies on his side. or lies on his face.

As well known. man spends the time period corresponding to 1/3 of his lifetime on sleep. thus to relieve his fatigue and to obtain a new energy for his activities the next day.

Therefore, it can be appreciated that the sleep is one of important factors of the lifetime of the man. Recently, with the increment of income together with the popularity of the recognition for the importance of the sleep, many studies for the bedding goods are developed. which provides the scientific advancement on the bedding goods.

Once upon a time, a wooden pillow was chiefly used and according to the introduction of the Western culture, various kinds of pillows become popularized. Most of pillows used at present have a flat structure for supporting the head of a user. To this end. each pillow is cushioned with an elastic material, for example, cotton or sponge in the interior thereof.

One prior art pillow is disclosed in Korean Utility Model Application No. 95-7575 according to which a cushion sack into which balls having a high elasticity are stuffed is inserted into the interior of the pillow, thereby ensuring the comfortable sensation. Also, the above prior art pillow is provided with a groove portion and a protruded portion formed in an adequate height on the place where the head of a user is positioned. when the user lies on his back or lies on his side, thereby ensuring an optimal sleep condition during his sleep.

Another prior art is disclosed in Korean Utility Model Application No. 96-6322 according to which a health pillow supplies the spirit of the nature emitted from raw grains to the head of a user.

Still another prior art is disclosed in Korean Utility Model Application No. 96- 2974 according to which the supporter of the pillow made of a synthetic resin is provided with upper and lower protruded plates and an irregular section on which a side plate is formed on a portion of the both sides thereof. In this way, on the upper protruded plate there is provided a reentrant portion on which the elasticity is applied, and when the head of a user is rested on the pillow, the supporter maintains a predetermined angle according to the weight of his head, thereby providing the much comfort to him.

The conventional pillow structure is designed on the assumption that the user lies on his back. Therefore, if he lies on his side, the height between his shoulder and head is higher than that in case of his lying on his back, such that he does not have a comfortable

feeling. The characteristics of the conventional pillows are not effectively exhibited in case where the user varies his lying posture during the sleep, thereby failing to have a good sleep.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, an object of the invention is to provide a health neck vertebrae pillow which is designed to support the head and neck portions of a user at a predetermined height at which a good sleep of the user is ensured, without any separate pillow height adjustment, in case where he lies on his back, lies on his side or lies on his face, whereby it relieves the pain of for example a neck vertebrae ruptured disk patient, relieves the user's fatigue, and protects and treats the mental and physical disease he may suffer.

To accomplish this and other objects of the present invention, there is provided a health neck vertebrae pillow, in order to maintain the neck vertebrae of a user in a top portion curved shape, comprising: a front side center portion rounded like a shoulder line on the front side of the pillow; a shim bar inserted horizontally into the front side of the pillow; a protruded portion on which the portion from the neck to the rear side of the head of the user is contacted to the pillow; an air-passing portion on which the portion of the rear side of the head of the user in the protruded portion contacted with the pillow is low; and front side left and right portions formed protrudedly to correspond with the height of the neck vertebrae varied by the shoulder according to the neck vertebrae are arranged in a straight line, in case where the user lies on his side.

According to the present invention, on the center portion of the pillow, there is provided a groove portion in order to maintain the height of the user's head in case where he lies on his back, and on the both sides of the center portion thereof, there is provided a protruded support portion having the height of the user's head in case where he lies on his side, thereby relieving the pain of for example a neck vertebrae ruptured disk patient, improving all the conditions caused upon the abnormality of the neck vertebrae, and improving the functions of the whole body as all of nerves of the human body are passed through the neck vertebrae, which enables that the user's fatigue may be relieved, the moral and physical diseases he suffers may be prevented and treated and all kinds of conditions unknown may be improved.

In other words, all kinds of brains as a central nervous system for controlling all portions of the human body are positioned in the cranial bone, and the neck vertebrae function as a passage of all kinds of nervous systems, through which central nerves are transmitted, while supporting externally the cranial bone and the face. Therefore, the present invention is invented to provide the pillow capable of normalizing the states of the cranial bone and the neck vertebrae during sleep, thereby preventing and treating all kinds of diseases caused therefrom.

The pillow of the present invention may support the head of the user, even if he varies his sleeping posture and may comprise a plurality of cushioning materials selectively into the groove portion or the protruded portion on the both sides thereof,

thereby ensuring a high degree of cushion sense.

In this way, the cushioning material is composed of a general cushioning material adjusting the height of the pillow or well-known medicinal herbs prepared according to physical constitution or condition of the user.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS As shown in Fig. 1, a front side center portion 1 of the pillow according to the present invention is rounded like the shoulder line of the human body. thereby being closely contacted with the neck and the shoulder line in a natural manner, and a shim bar 4 is inserted into the front side of the pillow, thereby supporting the pillow portion corresponding to the neck vertebrae to prevent the pillow portion from being considerably lowered. Also, a protruded portion 2 is formed in the pillow portion corresponding to the range from the neck to the rear side of the head, and an air-passing portion 3 is formed in the pillow portion onto which the protruded portion on the rear side of the head is contacted. The center portion of the pillow is formed to have a predetermined height in left and right portions thereof, in order to maintain the neck vertebrae in a top portion curved shape, and the left and right portions 5,5'of the front side of the pillow are protrudedly formed to correspond with the height of the neck vertebrae varied by the shoulder, in case where the user lies on his side. And, each peripheral surface of the pillow is finished in a natural manner.

A reference numeral 6, which is not explained in the above, denotes the reverse side (which is the same as in the front side) of the pillow.

Fig. 2 is a sectional view taken along the line A-A of Fig. 1, Fig. 3 is a sectional view taken along the line B-B of Fig. 1, Fig. 4 illustrates one use state of the health neck vertebrae pillow according to the present invention, and Fig. 5 illustrates another use state of the health neck vertebrae pillow according to the present invention, wherein the pillow presses up to the portion (A).

Fig. 6 illustrates the shim bar 4 of the present invention, in which Fig. 6A shows the shim bar and Fig. 6B shows the contents of the shim bar. In this way, the shim bar 4 is provided with a fastener, in which a shim material outer cover 4'into which a shim material is inserted is formed. The shim material outer cover 4'forms air holes on the front side of the upper portion thereof and typical cotton on the reverse surface thereof.

Therefore, the shim material is inserted into the shim material outer cover 4'and then, the shim material outer cover 4'is wound to be inserted into the fastener of the shim bar. Next, the shim bar is inserted into the pillow of the present invention.

Fig. 7 is a plan view illustrating the construction of the health neck vertebrae pillow according to a second embodiment of the present invention. In this way, the reference numeral 1 represents the front side center indented portion, 2 represents a center protruded portion, 3 denotes an air passing portion, 4 denotes the shim bar, 4'denotes the shim material outer cover, 5 and 5'represent the front side left and right portions, 6

represents the reverse side, and 7 and 7'represent the left and right height adjusting portions.

Under the above construction, the health neck vertebrae pillow according to the present invention has the following advantages: a) under its reasonable structure, it may maintain the head of a user in a more stable posture; b) its height and shape may be freely adjusted according to the user's intention and preference; c) since the changed shape is continuously kept, it is convenient to use; d) even if the user is changed from the lying on his back to the lying on his side, he may lie freely in every posture, while its neck vertebrae posture in a horizontal state and its height are maintained without any change; e) it may exert a high effect in absorbing and emitting the heat of the human body; f) it may prevent the hair of the user from being disordered; and g) it may provide the finger- pressure curing effect on the head of the user, thereby exhibiting a high metabolism, which ensures that the user's head is clear and fresh, his memory is improved, and his easy and comfortable sleep is ensured.

As set forth in the above, there is provided a health neck vertebrae pillow according to the present invention which is designed to support the head and neck portions of a user at a predetermined height at which a good sleep of the user is ensured, without any separate pillow height adjustment, in case where he lies on his back, lies on his side or lies on his face, whereby it relieves the pain of for example a neck vertebrae ruptured disk patient, relieves the user's fatigue, and protects and treats the mental and physical diseases he may suffer.
