Abstract:
A pilot operated switching valve (50) is provided with: a housing hole (53) formed in a valve body (52) and having an opening end (53a); a spool (54) housed in a slidable manner within the housing hole (53) and permitting or blocking the flow of operating oil to a first relief valve (60); a pilot chamber (51) into which pilot pressure for pressing the spool (54) in the valve opening direction is introduced; and a spring (55) for pressing the spool (54) in the valve closing direction. The spool (54) has a bottom surface (54b) on which the pilot pressure acts so as to press the spool (54) in the valve opening direction. The area of the bottom surface (54b) is smaller than the cross-sectional areas of the housing hole (53).
