A pin control method and device, relating to the field of electronic devices. The method comprises: when a dormant pin receives a data sending signal sent by a second chip, setting a first request sending pin to be a valid state according to the data sending signal (201); receiving, through a first data receiving pin, data sent by the second chip (202); when the dormant pin receives a transmission finish signal sent by the second chip, setting the first request sending pin to be an invalid state according to the transmission finish signal (203); and determining whether to enter a dormant state according to a current running condition (204). The method solves the problem in the relevant art that when a peripheral chip is in an operating state, if there is an interference signal on a main board, abnormal operation may occur to the peripheral chip because the peripheral chip receives the interference signal from the main board. When a first chip is in an operating state, a first request sending pin may also be set to be an invalid state, thereby ensuring the effect that a data receiving pin on the first chip cannot receive an interference signal on a second chip.
