Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pin for preventing a nut from being loosened, and a U-bolt assembly using same, wherein the nut has annular extensions with holes, said annular extensions being formed adjacent to one another, and anti-loosening pins are inserted into the respective holes to restrain the nut from rotating in a reverse direction to thus prevent the nut from being loosened. The pin is employed in a U-bolt to prevent the nut fitted to the U-bolt from being loosened. The pin and the U-bolt assembly using the pin according to the present invention reduce the time and labor required for preventing nuts from being loosened as compared to conventional devices.
