Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for applying a film, especially a covering, adhering or bonding film, onto a surface of an object. The inventive device is provided with a longish housing body (1), a take-off reel (4) for the carrier tape, a take-up reel (5) for the carrier tape and an application element (2). The carrier tape (3) is guided from said take-off reel (4) to the application element (2) and around said element to said take-up reel (5). The device for applying the film is placed upon the surface of the object with the application element (2) thereof and has to be moved over said surface. The axles of the take-off reel (4) for the carrier tape and/or the take-up reel (5) for the carrier tape are arranged essentially in parallel in relation to the longitudinal extension of the housing body (1) pertaining to the device.
