Abstract:
A pinch roller device capable of running a tape stably through a sufficient automatic aligning action, wherein a circular sliding plate in correct with both upper and lower end faces of a sliding bearing is installed on a pinch roller shaft so that the inclination of the sliding bearing can be controled, assuming that an axial clearance A between the circular sliding plate in contact with the upper end face of the sliding bearing and the sliding bearing is A and the outside diameter of the circular sliding plate is B, the circular sliding plate and the sliding bearing are formed so that the relation, 0.007 $m(F) A/B $m(F) 0.06, is established and, assuming that a radial clearance between the pinch roller shaft and the sliding surface of the sliding bearing is X and the effective length of the sliding surface of the sliding bearing is Y, it is desirable to form the pinch roller shaft and the sliding bearing so that the relation, X/Y $m(G) 0.052, is established.
