Abstract:
Provided is a pinhole testing device for a porous hollow fiber membrane that is capable of improving workability when the hollow fiber membrane is set onto the pinhole testing device. A pinhole testing device (17) comprises a water tank (19), an air blowing unit (21) that blows air at a porous hollow fiber membrane (H) passing through the water tank (19), and a current applying unit (23) disposed on a downstream side of the air blowing unit (21). The current applying unit (23) includes one pair of hook-shaped electrodes (29 and 31) which are arranged with a predetermined gap on a transport path of one porous hollow fiber membrane (H), and the porous hollow fiber membrane transported toward the downstream side can be hooked onto the one pair of electrodes.
