Abstract:

Provided is a pinion shaft support bearing which is capable of achieving both axial rigidity and radial rigidity and with which bearing life and fuel economy of a vehicle can be improved. [Problem] A pinion shaft support bearing 100 for supporting a pinion shaft 110 of a pinion gear 106 of an automotive differential gear device includes a multirow angular contact ball bearing 112 disposed on the pinion gear 106 side of the pinion shaft 110, and a single row angular contact ball bearing 114 disposed on the pinion shaft 110 on the side opposite to the pinion gear 106 when viewed from the multirow angular contact ball bearing 112. The single row angular contact ball bearing 114 has a contact angle between a ball 120 and an outer ring 116 and an inner ring 118 of 20° to 30°.
