Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a pipe aligning mechanism for a butterfly valve, which is easy to use and with which aligning work in pipe construction can be carried out in a simple manner. In the present invention, a groove (10) through which a positioning tool (11) is inserted is provided in a bottom part of a top flange (6). An end surface position of the groove (10) is on a surface where a valve box (10) joins with a pipe flange (7). The groove (10) is punched into a vertically long ellipse shape, and groove step parts (10a, 10b, 10c) extending in both lateral directions are formed in a plurality of positions in the groove (10) so that the mechanism can be adapted to various flange connection standards.
