Disclosed is a compact, low-cost manual pipe bending device configured from: a device body provided with a positioning means for positioning a pipe relative to a bending roll, and a deforming means for moving the pipe along the bending roll while pressing on the pipe relative to the bending roll to bend the pipe; and a stand which supports said device body in a prescribed position relative to the pipe. An arcuate guide is provided on top of the stand, and the device body is installed in the arcuate guide so as to move, centered at the bending position, around the pipe, and the rotation shaft is arranged so as to be axially slidable and rotatable relative to the device body frame. A rod handle is arranged on the rotation shaft; by means of said rod handle moving the rotation shaft upwards, the positioning means engages with the pipe, and the deformation means creates a bending action by rotation of the rotation shaft.
