Abstract:
Provided are a pipe coming-off prevention device for a pipe joint and a construction method therefor, the device preventing a member from being deformed and broken due to tensile force occurring in a joining pipe to thereby ensure sufficient holding power of the pipe.
A joint body (3) into which a joining pipe (2) is inserted, a C-ring-shaped retaining ring (4) which has a flange part (41) protruding from the outer peripheral surface thereof and is fastened and secured on the outer peripheral surface of the joining pipe (2) by a securing means, and a pressing plate (5) which has a recessed part for housing the flange part (41) therein are coupled by a coupling means. The flange part (41) is provided to extend along the axial direction of the joining pipe (2). A rear end (41a) of the flange part (41) and a front wall (51a) of the recessed part are disposed to face each other. A gap (10) which is maintained even when the retaining ring is fastened and secured is formed between the rear end (41a) and the front wall (51a).
