Abstract:
Disclosed are a pipe conveying device and method. The conveying device comprises a base (31) and a tilting main beam (30) used for fixing a pipe (100); one end of the base is hingedly connected to one end of the tilting main beam by means of a first hinge shaft (33); and a first telescopic component (35) is further hingedly connected between the tilting main beam and the base. The conveying device is initially at a horizontal predetermined position; during working, the first telescopic component operates and extends out to push the tilting main beam to rotate around the first hinge shaft, and the tilting main beam drives the pipe in a clamp body assembly (32) to rotate at the same time to reach a vertical predetermined position; the pipe is fixed on the tilting main beam in the entire process, and the trajectory thereof is controllable, such that the pipe can be rapidly and accurately conveyed.
