Provided is a pipe drawing plug (1), of which a straight portion (11) and a tapered portion (12) are connected by a curved portion (13). The curved portion (13) is characterized, in a section containing the center axis of the plug (1), in that it has a predetermined radius of curvature (R), in which the center of curvature is positioned outside of the straight portion (11) and the tapered portion (12), in that the inclination near a point of connection (131) to the straight portion (11) is made substantially identical to that of the straight portion (11), and in that the inclination near a point of connection (132) to the tapered portion (12) is made substantially identical to that of the tapered portion (12).
