Abstract:
Provided is a pipe holding and connecting structure configured so that the width of the entire structure is reduced and so that the number of parts and the number of assembly work steps are reduced. This pipe holding and connecting structure (30a) is provided with: a housing (32) affixed so as to air-tightly close the opening (6) of a vacuum container (4); a first pipe (50) having a portion near an end thereof extending through both the opening (6) and the housing (32); and a second pipe (60) having a female thread section (64) engaging with a male thread section (56) located at the end of the first pipe (50). The pipe (50) has an engagement section (52). Fluid (2) is caused to flow through both the pipes (50, 60). Pieces of packing (72, 73) are provided between the pipe (50) and the housing (32) and between the pipe (50) and the pipe (60), respectively. This pipe holding and connecting structure (30a) can be used for a high-frequency antenna.
