Abstract:
Provided is a pipe joint comprising a cylindrical hollow portion, wherein: the greatest-wall-thickness part of said pipe joint has a wall thickness of 2-7 mm; the ratio (L/D) of the length (L) of the hollow portion in the axial direction to the diameter (D) of the hollow portion is at most 5; said pipe joint contains a copolymer containing a tetrafluoroethylene unit and a fluoro(alkyl vinyl ether) unit; the content of the fluoro(alkyl vinyl ether) unit in the copolymer is 2.8-6.0 mass% with respect to the total content of monomer units; the melt flow rate of the copolymer at 372ºC is 4.0-11.0 g/10 min (exclusive of 11.0); and the number of functional groups in the copolymer is at most 50.
