Abstract:
This pipe joint (30) is provided with: a cylindrical pipe-connection part (40) into which a pipe (P) is inserted; a lock ring (50) serving as one example of a holding member which is provided inside the pipe-connection part (40), which is configured so as to be capable of engaging with the outer peripheral surface (PS) of the pipe (P) inserted into the pipe-connection part (40), and which, while in an engaged state with the outer peripheral surface (PS) of the pipe (P), holds the pipe (P) inside the pipe-connection part (40); and an operation member (70) which is detachably attached to the pipe-connection part (40), and which, when moved into an attachment position from a temporary attachment position, is brought into contact with the lock ring (50) and manipulates the lock ring (50) into the engaged state.
