A pipe joint is configured so as to prevent a collar affixed to the joint base from cracking. A pipe joint (10) is provided with a joint base (12) and a resin collar (14). The joint base (12) is provided with: a base cylinder section (30) extending toward the other axial side; a retaining protrusion (31) protruding radially outward from the outer peripheral surface of the base cylinder section (30); and an inner cylinder (32) extended from an end surface of the base cylinder section (30) and having a smaller diameter than the base cylinder section (30). The resin collar (14) is provided with: a first cylinder section (44) fitted over the base cylinder section (30); and a second cylinder section (46) which is axially extended from the first cylinder section (44), has an inner diameter larger than the inner diameter of the first cylinder section (44), forms an annular space between the second cylinder section (46) and the inner cylinder (32), the annular space allowing a pipe to be inserted therein, and forms a stepped section (48) between the second cylinder section (46) and the first cylinder section (44), the stepped section (48) engaging with the retaining protrusion (31). A sloped surface (S3) is formed on the stepped section (48), the sloped surface (S3) connecting the inner peripheral surface (S1) of the first cylinder section (44) and the inner peripheral surface (S2) of the second cylinder section (46).
