Abstract:
A pipe joint 1 is provided with: an inner ring 4 that has a bulging section 6 to be press-fitted into a distal end part of a tube 8; a joint body 2 configured so that an end part of the inner ring 4 is press-fitted into the inner circumference of the joint body which has at the outer circumference thereof a male screw part 2b; and a union nut 3 that has a female screw part 3a that is fastened by the male screw part 2b, and that presses the distal end part of the tube 8 due to fastening of the female screw part 3a by the male screw part 2b. The bulging section 6 has a tapered part 13 that generates surface pressure between itself and the tube 8 due to the pressing of the union nut 3. An outer peripheral surface 15 of the tapered part 13 has a recessed curved surface section 15a formed into a recessed curved surface in a cross-sectional view of the axial direction.
