Abstract:
Provided is a pipe robot in which a rotary actuator (30) for rotating a boring blade (21) in the circumferential direction of an existing pipe is installed. A wheel body (50), on both sides of which a travel wheel (52) is provided, and a wheel body (70), on both sides of which a travel wheel (72) is provided, are supported by pins (54, 74) between chassis side frames (43). The other ends the wheel bodies are connected so as to be capable of rotating, with a wheel shaft (63) of an intermediate wheel (65) serving as a pivot point. When both wheel bodies rotate, the intermediate wheel and the rotary actuator move above a horizontal line passing through the pin center. The pins are arranged at the center point of a line connecting the centers of the travel wheels and the intermediate wheel, so that the rotational axis (v1) of the rotary actuator coincides with the pipe center axis of the existing pipe.
