Abstract:
Disclosed is a pipe-shaped thermal power generation device which comprises: an inner through hole that extends along the axial direction of the device; a plurality of first cup-shaped members that are formed from a metal; a plurality of second cup-shaped members that are formed from a thermoelectric conversion material; a first electrode; and a second electrode. The first and second members are alternately arranged along the axial direction. The first and second electrodes are respectively arranged on one end and the other end of the device. A first member comprises a first inner surface and a first outer surface, and also comprises a first through hole in the lower end. The cross-sectional area of the first member decreases toward the lower end. A second member comprises a second inner surface and a second outer surface, and also comprises a second through hole in the lower end. The cross-sectional area of the second member decreases toward the lower end. The inner through hole is configured of a plurality of the first through holes and a plurality of the second through holes. A first member is inserted in one of adjacent second members so that the first outer surface of the first member is in close contact with the second inner surface of the second member. The other one of the adjacent second members is inserted in the first member so that the inner surface of the first member is in close contact with the second outer surface of the second member.
