There are provided a pipeline ADC development method, a pipeline ADC development device, a pipeline ADC development program, and a recording medium containing the program enabling a short-period development a high quality design, wherein what is necessary for a developer is to input specification of the ADC and an optimal ADC architecture and sub-block circuit configuration can be automatically selected. The specification inputted by the developer is evaluated by an evaluation unit (2). An architecture selection unit (3) selects circuit diagram data corresponding to the evaluation result of the evaluation unit (2) from the circuit diagram data on a plurality of architectures stored in a database (4). A circuit configuration selection unit (5) selects circuit diagram data in accordance with the evaluation result of the evaluation unit (2) from the plurality of circuit diagram data on circuits constituting the sub-block stored in the database (3).
