Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to reduce energy consumption when producing high strength steel pipes. This piping is formed from steel, which contains 0.05-0.25 weight% of C, 0.15-0.35 weight% of Si, 0.3-1.5 weight% of Mn, 0.035 weight% or less of S and 0.030 weight% or less of P, the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities. In said piping, the ferrite structure is equiaxed crystals with an average crystal grain diameter of 1.5 µm or less.
