Abstract:
Provided is a piston for an internal combustion engine for which the fluid lubrication friction coefficient of the outer circumferential surface of the skirt portion of the piston can be reduced. This piston for an internal combustion engine is equipped with at least one layer of an electrodeposition film on the outer circumferential surface of the skirt portion sliding with respect to the inner wall of the cylinder.
