Abstract:
This piston packing fitting jig is used to enable a piston packing (20) to be fit into an annular groove (1g) by: putting the piston packing (20) onto a first-outer-diameter region (100A) of a piston packing insertion jig (100) in a state where a piston head (1) has been inserted into the inside of a second-outer-diameter region (100B) of the piston packing insertion jig (100) such that a lower end portion of the second-outer-diameter region (100B) is at a position close to the annular groove (1g); mounting a piston packing pushing jig (200) along an outer peripheral surface of the piston packing insertion jig (100); and moving the piston packing pushing jig (200) in an axial direction, thereby causing the piston packing (20) to be pushed and advanced by a pushing edge (200) and to pass over the lower end portion of the second-outer-diameter region (100B) while being increased in diameter in accordance with the outer diameter dimension of the second-outer-diameter region (100B).
