Abstract:
In the present invention, a piston (61) is provided to a hydraulic rotator (72) that is used as a pump or a motor and in which in the circumferential direction thereof a plurality of the pistons (61) are disposed at a cylinder block (9) that rotates along with a rotation shaft (5), wherein the piston is provided with the following: a tubular peripheral wall section (62) having a hollow section (62b) and having formed in one end thereof an opening (64) that communicates with the hollow section (62b); a lid part (63) that hermetically seals the hollow section (62b) by being welded to the inner circumferential surface of the opening (64), and that is formed as a pressure receiving surface (63a), an outer surface of which receives fluid pressure; and a stress relief section (65) that is provided to an inner circumferential surface of the peripheral wall section (62) that is adjacent to or approaching an end part (68a) on the side of the hollow section (62b) of a welded section (68) formed between the opening (64) and the lid part (63), and that is for reducing the stress that acts on the end part (68a) of the welded section (68).
