Abstract:
The present invention relates to a piston ring for a compression apparatus, wherein both sides of a cut portion are formed to be fitted with each other so that oil leaks through the cut portion can be prevented and the compression ratio of the compression apparatus can be stably maintained. To achieve this, the present invention provides a piston ring (10) for a compression apparatus, the piston ring being formed in a ring shape with a cut portion (11) formed on one side thereof, wherein both cut end portions (12, 13) forming the cut portion (11) are respectively provided with fitting protrusions (12a, 13a) and fitting grooves (12b, 13b) which are symmetrical with each other to be fitted to and connected to each other.
