Abstract:
Provided is a piston ring capable of maintaining a superior aluminum adhesion prevention effect in a high output engine over a long term. One embodiment of this piston ring is a piston ring coated on at least one of the top face or bottom face by way of a resin-based coating containing a sheet-like filler, wherein the sheet-like filler includes at least one type of group selected from alumina, silicon carbide, silicon nitride, and boron nitride.
