Abstract:

A piston of a volume displacement machine comprises a conical head (1) provided with a thrust shoulder (6) at its end-face (5) of a smaller diameter. The other end-face (3) of the head (1) is connected to a rod (4). An elastic sealing ring (8) is mounted on the head (1) movably along the axis of the head (1) and between the limiters provided on the latter, one of them being the shoulder (6) and the other being a part of the lateral surface (2) of the head (1) situated at the end-face (3) of a larger diameter.
