Abstract:

This pit gate includes: a gate body inserted between a pool portion that stores water and a canal portion connected to the pool portion, thereby changing the state of flow of the water; and a seal portion (6) that is accommodated in a groove-shaped accommodating recess formed in the gate body and that seals between the pool portion and the gate body. The seal portion (6) has a low-rigidity portion (10) that is relatively easily deformed by the load from the water pressure from the pool portion side, and a high-rigidity portion (11) that is provided on the pool portion side of the low-rigidity portion and is not easily deformed by the load.
