Abstract:
An elevator pit ladder in the context of an elevator device includes a first ladder member having a first crosspiece and a second ladder member connected to the first ladder member. At least a part of the first crosspiece overlaps a part of the car region when the hoistway is viewed from above. In a region where the first crosspiece overlaps the car when the hoistway is viewed from above, the first crosspiece is disposed lower than the car would be upon impact with the shock absorber installed in the pit of the hoistway. The second ladder member is disposed outside the region of the car when the hoistway is viewed from above. The upper end of the second ladder member is disposed higher than the floor surface of the lowermost floor.
