Abstract:
A converter (22) converts commercial AC power to DC power, and supplies the same to an inverter (16). The output from the inverter (16) is supplied to an electric motor (12). The output from the electric motor (12) is supplied, via a reducer (10) and a pinion (6), to a ring gear (2) that is provided to a blade (1). In accordance with the rotations of the ring gear (2), the pitch of the blade (1) changes. At a midpoint potential section between the converter (22) and the inverter (16), a blackout-use capacitor (28) is connected via a charge-discharge circuit (26).
