Abstract:
The purpose of this invention is to achieve pitch enhancement processing with minimal sense of incongruity even in time intervals between consonants, and minimal sense of incongruity while listening caused by discontinuities, even if the time interval of consonants and other time intervals are switched between frequently. As pitch enhancement processing, this pitch enhancement device obtains, for each time in a time interval in which the spectrum envelope of a signal is deemed flat, as an output signal, a signal including a signal obtained by adding: a signal obtained by multiplying signals for times further in the past than said time for the number of samples T0 corresponding to the pitch cycle of said time interval, pitch gain σ0 for said time interval, a predetermined constant B0, and a value greater than 0 but smaller than 1; and a signal for said time.
