Abstract:
A pitting-resistant water and hot-water supply pipe made of a copper alloy containing at least one member selected between 0.005-1 wt. % of Y and 0.005-1 wt. % of Zr, optionally at least one member selected from the group consisting of: (a) at least either Sn or Ag in a total amount of 0.05-5 wt. %, (b) at least either Ti or R (a rare earth element except Y) in a total amount of 0.005-1 wt. %, and (c) W in an amount of 0.005-1 wt. %, further optionally 0.005-0.5 wt. % of P, and the balance consisting of Cu and inevitable impurities.
