A pivot type movable point frog friction reduction device. A pivot spacer iron (1) is fixedly arranged between a long point rail and a short point rail, the pivot spacer iron (1) is fixedly provided with a bearing device (2) downwards, and the bearing device (2) is composed of a bearing housing and a rotating shaft rotatably connected to the bearing housing; a base plate is fixedly provided with a positioning table (3) corresponding to the bearing device (2), a positioning key (4) is fixedly arranged on an inner side of the positioning table (3), and a positioning slot (12) that matches the positioning key (4) is provided in a side face of the bearing device (2); and after the friction reduction device is mounted, the bearing device (2) is embedded into the positioning table (3), and the positioning key (4) is embedded into the positioning slot (12). Sliding friction generated when a long and short point rail assembly moves is changed into rolling friction of a bearing by means of the bearing device (2), so that the switching resistance is reduced; and the structure of the friction reduction device is simple, and installation is convenient.
