Abstract:
A pivoting mechanism 1 which pivotally connects a first member 110 and a second member 120, and is equipped with a shaft part 10 configured so as to be insertable into a hole 112A formed in the first member and holes 122A, 123A formed in the second member, and an elastic part 20 capable of elastically deforming in the radial direction with the axis of the shaft part as the substantial center thereof at an intermediate location in the axial direction of the shaft part, the pivoting mechanism 1 being characterized in that the elastic part is configured so as to slide along the first and/or second members while biasing the same with at least a prescribed amount of pressing force.
