Abstract:

A pixel circuit (20) and a drive method therefor, and an active matrix organic light-emitting display. The pixel circuit (20) initializes an anode of an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) through a seventh thin film transistor (M7), so that the aging of the organic light-emitting diode (OLED) is slowed down, and the service life of the organic light-emitting diode (OLED) is prolonged. The current output by a first thin film transistor (M1) serving as a drive element is determined by a data voltage provided by a data line (Dm) and an initialized voltage (Vref) provided by a third power supply, and has nothing to do with an external supply voltage and a threshold voltage of the first thin film transistor (M1), and therefore brightness non-uniformity caused by the deviation in the threshold voltage of the thin film transistor and the change in the supply voltage can be avoided. Therefore, the active matrix organic light-emitting display which uses the pixel circuit (20) and the drive method therefor prolongs the service life, and improves the display quality.
